Fact of the day

Despite the fact that 77 percent of Americans go to the grocery store with a list, it’s estimated that half of everything bought there is bought on impulse. Supermarkets report very strong sales of almost anything they stock at the check-out line.
Hehe, thats salesmanship for you. Just shows how stupid we all are, we are succumbing to supermarkets…

I used to work at a department store. Things stocked at the check-out always sold.
Now when I shop I always look at the check-out stuff; but just to examine the display and whether it’s fully stocked.
Old habits die hard.

Hehe, once I bought something that looked very nice at the checkout. They charged a lot of money for it, to take advantage of our impulse.
